Position Summary:

Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA) is embarking on an exciting reorganization and seeks an enthusiastic person to oversee all geographic area administration related activities within newly formed Region 5 area (Berks, Bethlehem, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill).  This position will be responsible for the oversight and management of program related administrative needs to support all areas of activities to include but not limited to; sports, community relations, volunteer management, fund raising, region-wide communications, etc.


Internship Opportunities:

Social Media Manager– Work alongside Regional Executive Director to increase brand awareness through the usage of social media platforms.

Fundraising Corrdinator– Research, plan, coordinate, and manage all Special Olympics related events. Assist Development Director in the management of fundraising campaigns and oversee donor relations. Write personalized thank you letters to donors. Identify prospective individual, foundation, and corporate donors.

Photographer– Responsible for photographing images of athletes and volunteers to represent the Special Olympics experience which will be used for marketing purposes. Responsibilities will also include organizing and cataloging the images for future use and to coordinate and manage image posts to social media.
